We are offering 3 full weekends of wet labs to develop your skill set in veterinary dentistry.

Session Details

Canine Extraction Wet Lab (8 hours of RACE-approved CE credit)
This course is designed for veterinarians with limited experience in veterinary dentistry. This course will offer three hours of lecture hours and five hours of wet lab covering the following topics:

• Dental equipment and instruments
• Normal anatomy and Nomenclature
• Dental radiography
• Nerve blocks
• Surgical extractions of maxillary and mandibular teeth
• Complications, prevention, and treatments

Feline Extraction Wet Lab (8 hours of RACE-approved CE credit)
This is an intermediate-level course designed for veterinarians with some experience in feline dentistry and oral surgery. This course will offer three hours of lecture and five hours of wet lab that will cover the following topics:

• Dental equipment and instruments
• Normal anatomy and nomenclature
• Dental radiography with emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of tooth resorption
• Nerve blocks
• Full quadrant surgical extractions of maxillary and mandibular teeth
• Crown amputation techniques
• Complications – prevention and treatments
• Feline chronic gingivostomatitis
• Oral and dental disease unique to the cat
