Refer A Patient
Referral requests are reviewed within one business day of submission. VDCNC hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, so referrals submitted on Thursday and Friday will be reviewed on the following Monday.
Our VDCNC team will email the referred pet’s owner within two business days to continue the referral process. Please DO NOT indicate to your client that our staff will contact them via phone.
Images, both dental radiographs and photographs of the oral cavity, are extremely helpful in determining the urgency of each referral. Please attach images to the appropriate referral form along with patient medical records.
To ensure the safest anesthetic and handling experience for patients greater than 110 pounds, we recommend referral to NC State University Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery service.
